Position Overview

Supports Manager in day to day procurement, budget and asset management activities.  Processes, monitors and tracks IT expenses, contracts and assets.

Qualifications Include

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.  1-3 years of Accounting related work experience preferred. Familiarity with PC operations and Accounting software needed. Must be detailed oriented, well organized and able to meet deadlines with minimum supervision. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills required. Must be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.  The ability to interact effectively with all staff levels is essential.

 

Physical Demands: Normal physical demands associated with working in an office environment and prolonged computer use.  Occasional lifting, pushing and pulling of equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Works with IT Managers and Directors to prepare, re-forecast, and manage IT Departmental Budgets.   Sets-up new vendors and purchase orders based on budgetary decisions. 

 

Responsible for invoice processing, including tracking and troubleshooting for all capital and operating expenditures, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency of billing.

 

Conducts full line budget analysis for assigned departments.  Produces detailed budget variance and other reports as required.  Identifies causes of variances and presents details to management and Sr. Leadership as needed.

 

Responsible for organizational purchasing of IT related equipment.   Researches and explores potential new vendors as needed.  Creates and maintains relationships with vendors.

 

Accountable for IT Asset Inventory and Control ensuring accurate recordkeeping and reconciliations.

 

Partners with IT Managers, HR and Legal to monitor and track all IT related contracts for maintenance services, consultants and vendors.  Maintains process timelines and updates to communicate and facilitate smooth transitions.

 

Serves as main administrator of corporate mobile service account management, overseeing initial set-up, on-going bills & maintenance as well as upgrades as needed.

 

Responsible and supports the shipping and receiving of IT related equipment. 


Coordinates and facilitates the disposal of all IT related equipment.

 

May perform other duties of the department, but not those of a higher group level.
