B2C product experience with accountability for financial, customer, and other commonly understood industry benchmarks for success, preferably with a significant eCommerce component
Consumer-first orientation and strong passion for delivering quality tools, information and content in service to consumer needs.
College degree or equivalent plus a minimum of three to five years product manager work experience developing highly scaled, data-driven web destinations with significant revenue.

Proven experience with Agile Scrum and tenure as an Agile Product Owner.
A strong business sense and deep understanding of the digital landscape.

Able to work flexible hours and be available for occasional domestic travel.
Background in or passion for user experience and human-centered design a plus.
Strong digital network is preferred.
Lead and provide daily direction to cross-functional team initiatives spanning product, IT, content, leadership, finance and other stakeholders.
Oversee product development with accountability for contributing to attainment of product performance goals through product enhancements and programs
Establish and enforce strategic alignment between organizational mission and strategy for the eCommerce platform.
Identify business requirements and codify into well-defined specifications, stories and supporting artifacts that articulate simple, elegant solutions to consumer problems.
Develop expert understanding of the customer and be able to anticipate and build to their needs and improve their experience using the eCommerce product.
Partner with both internal and external parties to identify knowledge gaps and requisition market research that contributes to a deep understanding of eCommerce, including both consumer insights and industry research, that defines opportunities within the competitive landscape for our brand. Become an expert on the competition and be able to anticipate future trends.
Identify, contact, and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, including partners, vendors and trade organizations in order to gather, organize and share market trends and best practices.
Partner with other product managers/owners and key stakeholders to formulate, coordinate and evangelize product roadmaps and strategic plans.
Own development of success metrics (P&L, audience, customer satisfaction, etc.) to assess enhancements and track and communicate progress accordingly. Proactively make recommendations based on where the eCommerce is products are meeting, exceeding, or missing key performance indicators (KPIs)
Train/educate appropriate stakeholders (customer service, marketing, etc.) on new products, services, and enhancements.
Act as Agile Product Owner for eCommerce : oversee product backlogs, attend stand-up meetings, support scrum team, participate in sprint planning, review & retrospective sessions, as appropriate
Conduct internal and external product demonstrations, promote product enhancements and new features to build momentum and organizational support of site progress.
Manage external vendors, contractors and resources.
