The Senior QA Analyst documents the test cases based on the business requirements, and prepares and executes the test plan that covers functional, integration, data validation, browser and systems compatibility and automated testing. The role is also responsible for ensuring that the application meets the business requirements and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before deployment.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, Master’s Degree a plus or equivalent work experience.
Two to five years of IT and business experience with at least 3 years in Quality Assurance.
Experience executing automated and manual test plans and test scripts/cases, as well as reporting and tracking defects while performing Regression, Integration, Black Box and User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for Web (N-Tier) and Client/Serverapplications.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with SQL scripting and automated testing tools such as Selenium.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and well developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Experience using Qtest, JIRA, BrowserStack, Selenium, ObservePoint and Adobe Analytics.
Conduct Quality Assurance testing from development to product release.
Collaborate with automation team to integrate changes to the automation scripts when there are functional or UI changes.
Identify, reproduce, and report defects in the defect tracking system.
Verify application defects, and validate all issues are resolved and closed in a timely manner.
Collaborate with developers, business staff or other project team members to troubleshoot issues
Work on projects that span across teams, platforms, and systems.
Provide status updates to Manager.
Write and execute SQL queries against database systems using IDE tools.
Performs other duties as assigned but not those of a higher level
