  • Position Overview

    The Senior Database Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, design and testing activities for highly complex projects that support new business processes and marketing programs.

    Qualifications Include

    • Responsible for analysis, design and testing activities of enhancements to the Integrated Customer Database.
    • Develops and communicates specifications to both internal staff and external vendors for highly complex projects such as the addition of whole new sources of data and changes to existing data to accommodate new business processes and marketing programs.
    • Liaison with contributing source system vendors (e.g. CDS, Kable, IT) to ensure the seamless processing of the regular updates of the Customer Database. This includes adherence to standards, schedules and procedures which enable meeting service level agreements in the load of feeds, scores, NCOA updates and overlay appends.
    • Analyze data anomalies, determine source of problem, recommend and oversee implementation of sound corrective actions.  Identify improved controls and procedures to avoid recurrence.
    • Build productivity tools utilizing MS Excel and MS Access to assist Database Group manage internal schedules, track workload and monitor data issues.
    • Performs other duties of the department but not those of a higher level.
