The Data Scientist will be responsible for supporting data and analytics-driven decision making at Consumer Reports. Will provide new insights and recommendations through the use of advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques. He/she will leverage and synthesize data from internal and external sources in order to enhance the organization’s understanding of its subscriber and non-subscriber segment’s propensities, outcomes, and decision points.
The role sits within the Business Strategy & Planning department which is responsible for leading strategic planning, innovation and market intelligence at Consumer Reports. The candidate will support the department’s data analysis needs as well as the organization’s content classification needs. This role will require cross-divisional collaboration with various stakeholders to acquire and organize data and content assets and assist with expansion of Consumer Report’s enterprise-wide Taxonomy.
