    Consumer Reports seeks a Contract Recruiter to join the Talent Acquisition team and manage IT and Data roles.


    This role will act as a true partner to help source, screen, and hire amazing talent to help further our mission to make the marketplace safe and fair.  

    Qualifications Include

    • 5+ years experience as a corporate technical/digital recruiter
    • Roll up your sleeves attitude with a sense of urgency, and a friendly, professional and diplomatic demeanor
    • Well-developed personal network of professionals
    • Expertise in social recruiting, including use of candidate sourcing products and applicant tracking systems.
    • Proficiency with employment interviewing techniques and applicant pre-qualification
    • Outstanding client service, negotiation, and closing skills
    • Self-motivation, strong time management, superior sense of urgency and organization skills

    Key Responsibilities

    • Determine the best recruiting strategy for every position and discuss strategy with hiring manager.
    • Develop candidate pipelines specific to recurring or upcoming needs.
    • Provide advice and coaching to hiring managers & colleagues throughout the recruitment process
    • Use your expertise and innovative recruiting techniques to actively & creatively evaluate, network, and ultimately hire the best talent.
    • Develop and maintain strong client and candidate relationships, requiring diligent follow up and regular check-ins.
    • Lead candidate presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and various administrative components involved in full life-cycle recruiting
    • Drive the recruitment process through our ATS, including consistency moving candidates through workflow
    • Extend job offers to selected candidates, working with hiring managers and HR leadership.
