    Consumer Reports, the non-profit media, testing, and data organization focused on protecting the interests of consumers everywhere, is looking for an exceptional recruiter to join our team.


    Supporting the full life cycle of recruitment activities, we need a creative, responsive, and tech savvy pro to partner with our hiring managers and help us attract and hire the best possible talent to support our mission.


    Partnering with our technical teams in data science, IT, research, and testing, this role will help us close positions at all levels of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    While no day is ever average for a recruiter, key responsibilities include:

    • Working with managers to develop recruitment strategies for assigned positions- primarily product testing, data science and IT/Digital
    • Develop candidate pipelines specific to recurring or upcoming needs, with an eye toward cutting edge skills and diversity
    • Providing counsel and coaching to hiring managers & colleagues throughout the recruitment process
    • Actively and creatively evaluate, network, and ultimately hire the best talent.
    • Develop and maintain strong client and candidate relationships, requiring diligent follow up and regular check-ins.
    • Leading the candidate presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and various administrative components involved in full life-cycle recruiting
    • Driving the recruitment process through our ATS, including consistency moving candidates through workflow
    • Extending job offers to selected candidates, working with hiring managers and HR leadership.

    Qualifications Include

    • 5+ years experience as a full life cycle recruiter with demonstrated expertise filling technical roles-think data analysts, data scientists, engineers, software developers, and UX/UI
    • A Roll up your sleeves attitude with a sense of urgency, and a friendly, professional and diplomatic demeanor
    • Excellent interview skills that help managers make great hires 
    • A "leave no stone unturned" approach to sourcing- must love the hunt for candidates and always be looking for new ways to attract great talent
    • A versatile team player who can stretch and take on new roles and pitch in where needed
    • A commitment to excellent candidate experience
    • Outstanding client service, negotiation, and closing skills
    • A sense of humor and grace for when things don't go as planned
