Senior Infrastructure Engineer


The Opportunity

In this role, you will be an essential member of the IT infrastructure team  at CR. You will be  responsible for providing expertise in designing, planning and implementation of all infrastructure related projects.



This position will be based in our Yonkers, New York office. Candidates currently located in the tri-state area strongly preferred.


What you will do

  • Infrastructure planning, architecture design and engineering. 
  • Research, specify, evaluate, test and recommend hardware and supporting software components for infrastructure systems.
  • Periodic firewall rules review and verify business needs with the rule owner.
  • You will be responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting, fault management, security management and capacity planning of the infrastructure systems.
  • Design and implementation of new infrastructure technologies
  • Daily support of the infrastructure environment including LAN, WAN, wireless, remote access, unified computing, storage systems, unified communication platform
  • Data Center Infrastructure Management including monitoring the physical environment.
  • You will work with other teams to plan, design and implement systems in a heterogeneous, distributed computing production environment.

About You

  • You will have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, CS, or related field in addition to a minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure environments
  • You have at least 4 years of experience with:
    • Virtualization (VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, Hyperflex)
    • SAN fabric design, best practices and Storage Systems
    • Data Center Technologies
