Senior Project Manager, Marketing

The Opportunity

As a member of the Project Management Office, you will be responsible for providing program management leadership and business process governance within the Marketing division. This includes liaising with digital product delivery, content, and communication teams (amongst others), to ensure the marketing portfolio is prioritized based upon strategic goals. You will ensure the goals are documented, scheduled, and managed while providing the necessary levels of transparency required by internal partners and executive leadership to inform decision making.



What you will do

  • You will manage a Marketing roadmap outlining and communicating all projects within marketing, schedules, deliverables and relationships between third party vendor projects
  • You will be responsible for overall management of a portfolio of assigned projects, including enabling a high degree of coordination and dependency management across departments/divisions, communicating priorities, status monitoring and reporting, and stability of projects
  • You will select project planning approach referencing project management frameworks, assemble and adjust project plans, ensure scope is aligned to business priorities, identify project resource needs, track key project milestones, and evaluate and control project risks escalating as necessary
  • You will build strong relationships within Consumer Reports to support the Marketing division in its collaboration with other teams as it relates to understanding business opportunities and challenges as well as fulfilling shared commitments, completing deliverables and adhering to schedules
  • You will develop and/or participate in the development of presentation decks and other forms of communications with and for executive leadership

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in addition to 4 years of project management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting digital teams
  • You have 2 years of experience in delivering enterprise-level projects within a matrixed organization
  • Experience applying Project Management principles and industry best practices including Lean and Agile methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with business productivity and communication tools (e.g. GSuite, JIRA, Trello, Slack, SmartSheets, Microsoft Office)
