WHO WE ARE

Founded in 1936, CR has a mission to create a fair and just marketplace for all. Widely known for our rigorous research and testing of products and services, we also survey millions of consumers each year, report extensively on marketplace issues, and advocate for consumer rights and protections around safety, digital rights, financial fairness, and sustainability. CR is independent and nonprofit.

THE OPPORTUNITY

CR is now bringing its full power to address climate change and environmental issues in the marketplace.  As part of CR's Climate, Energy, and Sustainability Initiative, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across the organization to build and facilitate execution of a strategy to bend the curve of consumption toward a sustainable future.

This position is focused on advancing core priorities that reduce or eliminate harms and inequities associated with the products and services people buy and use everyday, including impacts on consumers, the economy and the environment.

This position is grant-contingent until June 2023, with opportunity for extension as we secure additional philanthropic support, which is an organizational priority.
