Job Locations US-NY-Yonkers | US-CT-Colchester

Based on our evaluations at our state-of-the-art test track in Colchester, Conn., and large-scale member reliability and satisfaction surveys covering in-depth ownership questions, CR produces rigorous and in-depth car ratings and reviews that help millions of consumers every year. We have also pioneered safety testing that has led industry and government to adopt lifesaving technologies from seat belts in the 1960s to automatic emergency braking in the 2020s. • Help execute on partnerships and new products and services that expand CR’s reach and revenue.
  • Serve as a CR expert on the autos category externally, including in the press and on social media.
  • Align and execute on the enterprise-wide cars strategy by building strong relationships with leaders across the organization, including in testing, marketing, new ventures, and social impact.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s business and enterprise objectives to understand how the Cars category integrates with the whole.
  • Understand changing consumer behaviors and the changing marketplace around cars.

  • Perform other related duties and special projects as requested.

You’ll Be Highly Rated If:

  • You have the knowledge. You understand the trends, opportunities, and challenges within the auto industry. You have experience leveraging this knowledge, and you have ideas for how CR can more competitively position itself in this space.
  • You have the experience. At least eight to 10 years of experience in digital content strategy development, preferably with experience in a leadership/vision-setting role, as well as experience writing, editing, and packaging content for print.
  • You have the degree. You have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or a related field.
