How You'll Make an Impact:
As Campaign Manager, you will be helping to bend the curve of consumption toward a sustainable future. You will accomplish this through executing campaign strategy based on a strong theory of change and a strong knowledge of the issues and the landscape. You will own the process from ideation through execution. You will help us realize Permission Slip’s potential by steering a product that advocates for consumers, increases the public’s awareness of how technology works, and enhances our collective privacy and power.
As a Product Manager, you will play a leadership role on our scrappy, cross-functional product team. You’ll help set our direction, oversee daily operations, and execute against our vision to deliver digital rights to consumers at scale. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Consumer Reports to ensure that our development roadmap can realize our performance goals, and you’ll build against CR’s organizational mission and strategy.
As the point of contact for our both new and current employees working on changing the landscape of the consumer marketplace.
As the Senior Director, Philanthropy you will work with executive leadership, including the VP, Chief Social Impact Officer, to coordinate the cultivation of influentials, high-net worth philanthropists and institutional funders and partner with communications experts to raise CR’s profile in philanthropic networks through events, newsletters, and other engagement opportunities.
- Lead restricted/programmatic fundraising to secure the partners, resources, and investment required for CR’s growth with a goal of building $10M+ annually in principal gift/grant support for priority programs within an annual operating budget of approx $240M+.
- Prioritize cultivation and solicitation strategies for high value prospects to generate six- seven- and eight-figure commitments, and meaningful stewardship strategies to build long-term sustainable relationships.
- Position CR to receive cy pres awards as appropriate, including raising CR’s profile in the legal community.
- Explore how CR as a social enterprise can leverage impact investing opportunities to achieve measurable social and financial benefits.
- Manage a small team to achieve fundraising goals with a focus on creating a diverse, equitable, inclusive, innovative, collaborative, and performance-driven culture.
- Provide coaching and feedback to encourage and support high performance of team members.
- Work as a strategic partner to the Chief Marketing Officer to help build a donor narrative and brand position that aligns with principal gift and grant fundraising.
- Helps ensure CR’s fundraising policies and practices promote industry best practices, meet the highest standards of ethics and integrity, and protect CR’s brand and reputation.
- Oversees all activities related to restricted fundraising, setting strategic direction, executing operating plans, and ensuring that fundraising and budgetary goals are met. Identify strategies to maximize return on fundraising investment.
- May require up to 40% of time in travel for philanthropic partner and team meetings.
Your work will focus on helping us build and facilitate the execution of a strategy to bend the curve of consumption towards a sustainable future specific to current and future transportation fuel policies.
You will also help create common cause with young people and communities of color who will be our partners in change. And you will have the opportunity to tap into the diverse assets of a nonprofit social enterprise to take a unique, consumer-facing approach to shape the marketplace and reduce or eliminate harms and inequities associated with the products and services people buy and use every day, including impacts on consumer health, the economy, and the environment.
As a Software Engineer you will develop and document data architecture artifacts - data dictionaries, data flows and data models conceptual/logical/physical) etc. You will develop data pipelines needed to integrate a variety of internal and external data sources through efficient ETLs and collaborate with developers, business staff and/or other project team members to trouble issues. As a Software Engineer you will help streamline software development by automating manual processes and eliminating defects while supporting, troubleshooting and maintaining CRs existing applications.

As Manager, you will oversee the lifecycle of multiple campaigns, driving the strategy, implementation and analysis for plans that are consistent with our unique mission and marketplace principles. You will help identify individuals interested in our mission and work side by side with consumers for truth, transparency and a fair marketplace.

In this role you will examine how the use of financial technology - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, embedded finance and large tech entities' involvement in payment processing and other financial activities, blockchain-based products- affect financial services, consumers and the marketplace. Writing materials exploring and explaining these issues to a variety of audiences supporting CR positions; and working with the Senior Counsel, Director of Financial Fairness, staff, and partners to develop and implement strategies to ensure consumers have agency over their financial data and to ensure responsible fintech innovation.
As an AI/ML Engineer, you will support data-driven decision-making at Consumer Reports. You will proactively provide actionable insights for our business to be relevant to our customers & marketplace and drive audience growth. You will add value by providing new insights from internal/external data sets to understand what’s trending and inform what content we need to increase the breadth, speed, and relevance of coverage. You will collaborate with cross-functioning teams and translate business challenges to specific data science problems with measurable outcomes and solve them through the use of modern data technologies and applied data science.
As a AI/ML Engineer you will:
- Analyze business requirements from cross functional teams and translate to technical data science problems.
- Optimize machine learning models for performance and scalability and deploys them into production to ensure repeatable and dependable operation.
- Automate the machine learning pipeline, from data ingestion to prediction generation.
- Collaborate with business, product and engineering teams to build end-to-end data science pipelines.
- Gather data from various sources and assess business utility.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature-engineering/selection.
- Apply data science techniques to get insights out of data.
- Build, deploy, and tune Machine Learning models.
- Develop prototypes and visuals to illustrate insights.
