CR is looking for a proactive, collaborative and creative product manager to join our team and help improve our user experience, membership journeys and affiliate shopping growth. This role will focus on growth across our digital platforms.    This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, award-winning digital team at this unique independent consumer-only nonprofit organization.   Responsibilities: - Partner with stakeholders across the organization, including our affiliate Shopping team, marketing, content, testing, research and analytics to execute a variety of projects and initiatives and make insightful recommendations to maximize impact - Work with Senior PM  in running and providing direction to a cross-functional agile team. - Balance and prioritize roadmap initiatives based on user needs and short and long term organizational objectives - Identify opportunities to meet consumer needs, and translate them into requirements - Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and our target audiences and help map persona-driven user journeys to drive personalized experiences - Work with our UX and engineering teams to develop prototypes, A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses - Define metrics and KPIs to track success and allow us to make informed, data-driven decisions

The Manager, Digital Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and programs that support growth of the digital products and services customer base.  This role will work closely with other members of the Marketing, Digital, and Content teams on Digital Marketing programs that support business goals including audience development, acquisition, and engagement.     Responsibilities: - Lead influencer marketing program for growing brand awareness, driving audience to CR.org and growing social engagements across platforms - Develop and execute product marketing campaigns for CR’s membership benefits  - Partner with stakeholders to manage, execute integrated marketing campaigns for assigned cross-organizational efforts - Leverage marketing channels to support product marketing campaigns and cross organizational initiatives.   As part of the CR’s Communications team you will help drive awareness of and build affinity for the organization and its expertise by participating in and supporting work to engage new and more diverse audiences, leveraging key editorial and advocacy initiatives, and amplifying CR content, products and expertise. Market analysts at CR start the ball rolling for our rigorous product testing and ratings process, by selecting the models that we evaluate in our labs. In this role, you will analyze the markets in a variety of product categories, create criteria for model selection, monitor upcoming new product introductions, and identify the models that consumers will see and want to know about, as we look to extend our reach to new audiences. As a member of the Test department, you will work closely with the Testing leaders, as well as other stakeholders in the organization. Please note that this may eventually be a hybrid remote/onsite role Responsibilities: - Select models for testing in various product categories, utilizing data from a variety of information resources (internal and external). - Identify product models that have “buzz” or will otherwise be of particular interest to consumers. - Gain understanding of market landscape and new product introductions in new and established product categories. - Utilize available analytic tools to determine search trends such as seasonality, key segments and features, key brands, popular models and other search terms pertinent to a particular category. - Map out a schedule of model introductions to facilitate resource planning for assigned product categories. - Engage with product manufacturers and monitor industry announcements to understand future product plans. - Monitor the retail landscape with respect to shifts in market share, promotional behavior, price points, and product assortment. - Populate and maintain the model database including model pricing and availability data for tested products; establish a regular schedule for pricing and availability maintenance. - Review articles prior to publishing for accuracy. - Work with stakeholders to assess opportunities in new product categories.

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join CR’s Data Engineering & Intelligence team to design, develop, deploy, and maintain a data lake along with a data management system with sophisticated data pipelines, data reports and data visualizations.   This position is 100% remote but will eventually be based in our Yonkers, New York office.   Responsibilities: - Design, build, operationalize, and maintain the data platform and data management applications - Develop and document data architecture artifacts - data dictionaries, data flows, data models (Conceptual / Logical / Physical) etc. Good judgment will be required to balance various factors (ACID, CAP, etc.) in database design - Develop data pipelines needed to integrate variety of internal and external data sources through efficient ETLs - Work with other software engineers, database developers, infrastructure, operations, QA  and other cross functional teams to design and implement data solutions. - Support, troubleshoot, monitor and optimize existing data engineering systems. - Help streamline software development by contributing to the implementation of a continuous integration process, automating manual processes, and eliminating defects.

The Community Organizer will be responsible for understanding what’s on the minds of current and prospective CR members and how CR can support them. You will design and implement events and activations that empower members to be leaders in advocating for change.   Responsibilities: - ​​Design and execute community-oriented events and activities in support of CR’s mission.  - Manage programs, from inception to completion,  that support our community engagement strategy.  - Launch experiments to test various engagements and activations to reach and engage younger consumers and communities of color - Manage digital tools, spaces, and sites to allow for community engagement. - Serve as a relationship manager and skills developer with top volunteer leaders. - Develop training programs and resources, grounded in diversity, equity and inclusion,  for all members to receive support and empowerment.  - Work with our Strategic Communications and Social Media teams to design program outreach tools including digital assets, videos, social media, emails, and other media. - Identify success metrics for each program and provide oversight to ensure necessary tracking, delivery, pacing and optimization.

Your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic decisions.  You will work on multiple projects at a time and focus on the details while finding creative ways to manage big-picture challenges.   Responsibilities: - Manage the integrated relationship, business planning process, and financial analysis for assigned areas of the business. - Budget planning, revenue and expense forecasting and monthly reporting for existing departments. - Create business models for new products and services to support investment recommendations and long-term growth initiatives. - Provide overall business intelligence and support including modeling new product or service launches, assessing existing products/services and evaluating test results and pricing strategies. - Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and rolling, long-range forecasts using guidance from business partners, trend identification, and cost and ROI analysis. - Analyze and communicate monthly financial results and KPIs for assigned areas for impact. - Partner with the Social Impact team to develop grant proposals to underwrite marketplace change strategies to promote a fair and just marketplace.
